Rubio & Amiracle

Rubio & Amiracle

KRIS RUBIO: LA-based comic Kris Rubio uses his musical and non-musical comedy style to cast an ever-expanding net amongst the stand up community, featuring for such Comedy Central notables as Thai Rivera, Joey Medina, and Edwin San Juan.

“Kris Rubio is one of my favorite comics to watch and work with,” says Rivera, who has had Rubio open for him many times in venues up and down the California coast and as far as Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. “His unique and hilarious style of comedy always gets the audience in the right mood. Rubio is one comic that is guaranteed to deliver.”

With many of Rubio’s comedic bits involving an audio looping device and songs on topics ranging from relationship issues, struggles at the day job, growing up Filipino and the irreverent hip hop stylings of Darth Vader, many have compared him to such comics as Reggie Watts, Pablo Francisco and Flight of the Concords.

AMIR THE AMIRACLE: Amir the Amiracle is the only Black & Arabic guitar comedian ever. From Los Angeles, CA. Amiracle has appeared on TLC's Style By Jury, Kingdom, Nickelodeon's Wild & Crazy Kids, 'Stronger than Nature' music video, You Tube Comedy sketches, & Ted 2. For the last 5 years, Amiracle has been performing his unique style of comedy & music all over the North West in various comedy clubs, colleges, competitions and theaters. His improvised songs with the crowd make his act hysterical to watch every time.

Amiracle's musical brand of comedy is engaging and charismatic. He finds hilarious material in his bi-racial family upbringing, his Latina girlfriend & daughter, serenading the crowd, life in the music industry, his past jobs, & pop culture.

Amiracle began studying music at the age of 10. After earning his BA in Music from Cal State Northridge, he used his talents performing in different bands, teaching guitar, & working lame jobs like Enterprise Rent a Car. Fortunately, Amiracle changed his focus to Stand up Comedy and his star has been rising ever since.
